Round cemented carbide inserts has the following advantages:

(3) high cutting rate under the condition of not requiring high machine power, the circular blade can have high metal cutting rate, and because of the high strength of the blade, the feed rate can be higher than that of the right-angle milling cutter.
(4) high roughing precision. The surface of the workpiece after rough machining with circular blade is relatively flat, which can be easily semi-finished. In some cases, it can even be directly finished.
