Insert Characteristics
Carbide is the most common material in the industry today. The multilayer coating allows for the turning inserts to cut faster and last longer.
Product features
**Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems
**Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings and are suitable for a wide range of applications
**General purpose grade designed for stainless steel and non-ferrous materials
**Used for turning and finishing on a wide range of materials
**7 degrees relief angle
Product description
Carbide turning inserts used on a wide range of materials triangle with chipbreaker and for turning and finishing on a wide range of materials. Screw-on style insert. Single sided for semi-finishing and finishing. 7 Degrees relief angle. General purpose grade designed for cast iron and non-ferrous materials. Can also be used for machining 200 and 300 series stainless steel. Provides excellent wear resistance. Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings and are suitable for a wide range of applications.
